Time Running Out to Submit Your PECOS Updates
Time is running out for all providers who refer Medicare services to update their PECOS information. You will start to receive denials for any claim with a referral on it if this is not updated. Any provider who enrolled in Medicare within the last 5 years should be okay. If more than 5 years, chances are you have never updated your information in the PECOS system.
